This policy explains what information Savrsoft ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Savrsoft catering platform at savrsoft.com and its mobile app.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and business name. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from that provider. Passwords (when used) are stored only as a salted cryptographic hash, never in plain text.
- Business data you enter — recipes, ingredients and prices, events, menus, staff, and client records (including client contact details you choose to add), invoices, and related content.
- Payment information — subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles card data under its own security and privacy terms.
- Usage & device data — basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
- Analytics data — with your consent, we use Google Analytics to collect aggregated, anonymized information about how the site is used (pages viewed, general region, device type). IP addresses are truncated and advertising signals are disabled. See our Cookie Notice for how to accept, decline, or withdraw this.
How we use your information
- To provide and operate the platform — costing, menus, events, invoicing, and reporting.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To process your subscription and, where you enable it, client payments and accounting sync.
- To power optional AI features you choose to use (see "AI features" below).
- To communicate with you about your account and the service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising. Our analytics are configured without advertising or cross-site tracking signals.
AI features
When you use an AI feature — photographing a recipe, generating a menu, detecting allergens, or translating — the relevant recipe text or image is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the result. This content is processed to fulfill your request and is not used to train third-party models.
Service providers & integrations
We share data only with the providers needed to run the service, each under their own terms:
- Cloudflare — hosting, database, storage, and network security.
- Stripe — subscription and payment processing.
- Anthropic — AI features you invoke.
- Google Analytics — aggregated, anonymized site-usage measurement, only with your consent (see the Cookie Notice).
- Google / Apple — optional sign-in.
- Open Food Facts — barcode/UPC ingredient lookups.
- Intuit / QuickBooks — only if you connect your QuickBooks account, to sync invoices and customers.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual records at any time, and you may request deletion of your account and its data by contacting us.
Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, hashed credentials, per-organization isolation, and managed, access-controlled infrastructure. See our Security page for details. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
Children
Savrsoft is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
